Jamie Gardner
Principal Consultant

Jamie Gardner combines her unique experience across private, public and social sectors to design dynamic solutions for community impact.  With a passion for cultivating cross-sector partnerships and initiatives, Jamie works as a Principal Consultant through O-H Community Partners to leverage the power and productivity within each sector to optimize its potential for positive social change.

As the former Executive Director of the Taproot Foundation’s Pro Bono Action Tank and VP of External Relations, Jamie was responsible for expanding the market of pro bono services beyond the legal and medical professions.  In that role, Jamie led a national effort to generate awareness and thought leadership for pro bono services throughout corporate America, professional associations and graduate schools. Perhaps her proudest moment was spearheading an initiative that resulted in the President of the United States promoting the concept of corporate pro bono service during a White House event.

Prior to joining the Taproot Foundation, Jamie focused on developing strategic partnerships and providing management consulting with an emphasis on integrating business technology. Her former employers include organizations such as IBM and J.D.Edwards, Ogilvy, Adams & Rinehart, as well as the U.S. Department of Energy.  Jamie’s former clients come from both public and social sector organizations including the U.S. Senate Subcommittee for Children and Families, the State of Nebraska, Children’s Defense Fund and Net Impact as well as Fortune 500 companies including ServiceMaster, NewsCorp and Target.

Jamie earned her master in public policy degree from Georgetown University and holds a bachelor of science in business from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Jamie remains actively engaged in pro bono service and currently serves as a business adviser and NICU Ambassador for the Graham’s Foundation as well as a contributing member of the San Francisco Foundation.
